The Policy work group facilitates the policy advocacy work of the Collaborative. Its goals are as follows: To make recommendations, advise and guide the full Collaborative toward its goal of representing women's needs in HIV and AIDS through an array of public policy arenas, including prevention, research, treatment, services and funding; to support Collaborative efforts to build a coalition that is diverse, inclusive and accessible to all women who advocate for quality HIV and AIDS services and programs; to support the Collaborative and its committees in its objective to develop a mechanism for sustainable advocacy around HIV and AIDS issues that impact women, and to lead the Collaborative in coordinating such activities
